Outline of IJCNN Panels

IJCNN2019 will feature Panel Sessions where leading experts will discuss on specific topics and answer questions by the audience. Potential topics include cutting-edge areas of neural networks, industry outreach, historical aspects of neural networks and history of INNS, community building, future challenges, etc. A Panel Session typically has 5-6 invited panelists and a panel chair that leads the discussions. The duration of a Panel is approx. 2-2.5 h, depending on the conference schedule. In previous IJCNNs, successful Panel Sessions has been followed by edited books, and/or journal special issues.

Interested scientists are encouraged to submit their Panel proposal to IJCNN2019. Potential panel organizers please prepare your proposal including the following information:

  • Potential panelists (5-6 people) with affiliations and brief bios (100w). The list of panelists is provisional, until IJCNN2019 organizers approve the panel.
  • Possibility of follow-up publications, edited books, special issues, etc.
